• Rutgers’ Khaseem Greene Named Preseason All-America by Phil Steele’s College Football Preview
  Rutgers senior linebacker Khaseem Greene was named a preseason All-American today by Phil Steele’s College Football Preview. Greene, the 2011 Co-BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Year, was one of 18 Scarlet Knights named to Steele’s four All-BIG EAST teams as well.

  Rutgers junior All-America wide receiver Mohamed Sanu was selected by the Cincinnati Bengals in the third round of the 2012 NFL Draft Friday evening. The Bengals drafted Sanu with the 83rd overall pick.

  The BIG EAST Conference and ESPN announced Friday that September’s Rutgers-USF game has been selected for ESPN’s Thursday night primetime package. The game, originally scheduled for Saturday, September 15, will now be played Thursday, September 13 with kickoff set for 7:30 p.m.
