• Northwestern Announces Three October Kickoff Times
  Northwestern and the Big Ten Conference announced today (May 3) three homecoming game kickoff times for the 2012 football season. Northwestern's 2012 homecoming game against Iowa on Saturday, Oct. 27, is set for an 11 a.m. CT start. In addition, NU's games Oct. 6 at Penn State and Oct. 13 at Minnesota also will be 11 a.m. CT kickoffs. Television designations will be announced two weeks prior to each game.
• NFF Hampshire Honor Society Recognizes Six NU Seniors
  Six senior Northwestern football players are among the honorees in the 2012 National Football Foundation (NFF) Hampshire Honor Society, comprised of college football players from all divisions who each maintained a cumulative 3.2 grade point average (GPA) or better throughout their career.
• Drake Dunsmore, Jeremy Ebert Selected in 2012 NFL Draft
  Northwestern football alums Drake Dunsmore (Lenexa, Kan./Saint Thomas Aquinas) and Jeremy Ebert (Hilliard, Ohio/Hilliard Darby), the Wildcats' two most prolific pass-catchers a season ago, each were selected in the seventh round of the 2012 NFL Draft on Saturday afternoon.

  Ten Northwestern football student-athletes will eagerly await the phone call from the National Football League during the 77th NFL Draft which begins tonight and takes place throughout the weekend.
• Wildcats Announce Primetime Kickoff for 2012 Home-Opener
  Northwestern football's 2012 home-opener against SEC foe Vanderbilt will kick off at 7 p.m. CT on Saturday, Sept. 8, the Big Ten announced Tuesday as part of its primetime schedule release. The game will air live on the Big Ten Network.

  Pat Fitzgerald joins his former boss and current Green Bay Packers President Mark Murphy on the National Advisory Board for the Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA), it was announced today.

Your Wildcats are participating in ESPN's 2012 Bring GameDay to Your Campus vote beginning at 11 a.m. CT today, Tuesday, May 1. The school with the most votes will have a chance to bring College GameDay to campus for a 2012 commercial shoot.
• NGN Auction Moves to Soldier Field This June!
  On Saturday, June 2, all roads will lead to Soldier Field for the first off-campus celebration by the Northwestern Gridiron Network (NGN), the support group for Wildcat football. The legendary home of the Chicago Bears will host the NGN's 19th annual Spring Auction Dinner, a night of fun and excitement to benefit Chicago's Big Ten Team.

  At its annual spring exhibition Saturday, April 14, at Ryan Field, Northwestern aired the first installation in what will be a series of videos introducing the college football world to NU's new Under Armour jerseys launching this fall.

• Northwestern Announces Home-and-Home Series with Stanford
  Northwestern and Stanford have finalized plans for a home-and-home football series to be played in 2015 and 2016, Northwestern director of athletics and recreation Jim Phillips announced on Wednesday. The series comes in addition to the four-game set the two schools announced last April, scheduled from 2019 to 2022.

• Northwestern Football Performance Clinic Set for April 12
  On Thursday, April 12, Northwestern will host a day-long Football Performance Clinic for area high school football coaches, strength and sports performance coaches, personal trainers and parents. After beginning the day with a visit to a Northwestern spring practice and a welcome by head coach Pat Fitzgerald, clinic attendees will take in a series of presentations by the NU football performance staff on how best to maximize a football training regimen.
