The North Carolina State Wolfpack NCAA football team currently compete in the Atlantic Coast Conference. As a member of the ACC, the Wolfpack have won 7 conference championships and participated in 23 bowl games, of which they have won 12.
Since 1966 the North Carolina State Wolfpack have played their home games in Carter-Finley Stadium and has a seating capacity of 57,583 seats. The stadium replaced the obsolete on-campus Riddick Stadium and was originally named Carter Stadium, in honor of Harry C. & Wilbert J. “Nick” Carter, both graduates of the university.
