• Spartan Football Fantasy Camp Scheduled For June 11-12
  Adult men (18 and older) are invited to enroll in the seventh-annual Spartan Football Fantasy Camp, scheduled for June 11-12 on the Michigan State campus. The entire Michigan State coaching staff, led by head coach Mark Dantonio, will conduct offensive and defensive drills and a 7-on-7 scrimmage.
• NCAA Grants Arnett's Waiver Request; Receiver Eligible For 2012 Season
  Michigan State sophomore wide receiver DeAnthony Arnett's request for a residence waiver has been granted by the NCAA, so he will be eligible to play in 2012. Arnett had 24 receptions for 242 yards and two touchdowns in 2011 as a true freshman at Tennessee but requested a release from his scholarship following the season, so he could transfer closer to his hometown of Saginaw, Mich., and his father William, who is battling heart and kidney problems.
• MSU Athletic Communications Staff Honored By FWAA
  The Football Writers Association of America has announced its third "Super 11" field of sports information departments which were deemed the best in the NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision during the 2011 season. Michigan State, Auburn, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Northern Illinois, Oklahoma, San Diego State, Southern California, Syracuse, Utah State and Western Kentucky are the winners.
• Kickoff Times Set For Homecoming Plus Two Road Games
  MSU's Oct. 6 game at Indiana and its Oct. 13 Homecoming game against Iowa will kickoff at 12 p.m. EDT and be televised by either ESPN, ESPN2 or Big Ten Network. The distribution platform will be determined six-to-12 days in advance of those two games. In addition, ABC announced it will televise MSU's Oct. 27 game at Wisconsin, with kickoff set for 3:30 p.m. EDT.
• Spartan Football All-Access Debuts Thursday On FOX Sports Detroit
  The "Spring Edition" of "Spartan Football All-Access" debuts on FOX Sports Detroit Thursday, May 3 at 6 p.m. EDT. The 60-minute "Spring Edition" covers the team from the post-game celebration following Michigan State's triple-overtime victory over Georgia in the 2012 Outback Bowl through defensive tackle Jerel Worthy's decision to forgo his senior season and enter the NFL Draft, Signing Day, NFL Scouting Combine, MSU's Pro Day, winter conditioning, spring practice and the Green-White spring game.
• With Veteran Defense, Spartans Eye Bigger Prize
  The 14-2 final score in the annual Green-White game may not have said much about the relative strengths and weakness of the Michigan State football team as it breaks spring camp. The players were dispersed evenly via team draft and key performers, such as quarterback Andrew Maxwell and linebacker Chris Norman, were held out because of injuries.But, the score was symbolic because it was a way for the defense to put a stamp on the 2012 team going forward.
• 2012 NFL Draft Update: Baker Selected By Chargers In Seventh Round
  Michigan State junior running back Edwin Baker, who rushed for nearly 2,300 yards and 19 touchdowns in three seasons, has been selected by the San Diego Chargers in the seventh round (No. 250 overall) of the 2012 National Football League Draft Saturday, April 28.
• 2012 NFL Draft Update: Cunningham Selected By Miami in Sixth Round
  Michigan State senior wide receiver B.J. Cunningham, the school's all-time leader in receptions (218) and receiving yards (3,086), has been selected by the Miami Dolphins in the sixth round (No. 183 overall) of the 2012 National Football League Draft Saturday, April 28.
• 2012 NFL Draft Update: Robinson Selected By 49ers In Sixth Round
  Michigan State senior safety Trenton Robinson, a first-team All-Big Ten selection by the media in 2011, has been selected by the San Francisco 49ers in the sixth round (No. 180 overall) of the 2012 National Football League Draft Saturday, April 28.
• White Defeats Green, 14-2, in Spring Game
  The White defeated the Green, 14-2, in Michigan State's spring game Saturday afternoon at Spartan Stadium. Playing for both teams, quarterback Connor Cook completed 20-of-45 passes for 294 yards.

  Michigan State senior wide receiver Keshawn Martin, who recorded career highs in receptions (66) and receiving yards (777) in 2011, has been selected by the Houston Texans in the fourth round (No. 121 overall) of the 2012 National Football League Draft Saturday, April 28.
• 2012 NFL Draft Update: Cousins Selected By Redskins In Fourth Round
  Michigan State senior quarterback Kirk Cousins, who led the Spartans to back-to-back 11-win seasons, has been selected by the Washington Redskins in the fourth round (No. 102 overall) of the 2012 National Football League Draft Saturday, April 28.
• 2012 NFL Draft Update: Worthy Selected By Green Bay In Second Round
  Michigan State consensus All-American Jerel Worthy has been selected by the Green Bay Packers in the second round (No. 51 overall) of the 2012 National Football League Draft Friday, April 27. Worthy becomes the highest-drafted defensive player from Michigan State since linebacker Julian Peterson was selected No. 16 overall by the San Francisco 49ers in 2000.
