    University of Iowa wide receiver Marvin McNutt, Jr. was selected by the Philadelphia Eagles in the sixth round of the 2012 NFL Draft Saturday. McNutt is the fifth Iowa player selected in 2012, and the 50th Hawkeye player under Kirk Ferentz to be drafted.

    University of Iowa defensive back Shaun Prater was selected by Cincinnati in the fifth round of the 2012 NFL Draft Saturday. Prater is the fourth Iowa player selected, as OL Riley Reiff was selected in the first round by Buffalo Thursday. Prater is the 49th Hawkeye player under Kirk Ferentz to be drafted and the 10th defensive back.

Daniels is the second Iowa player selected, as OL Riley Reiff was selected in the first round by Detroit Thursday. Daniels is the 47th Hawkeye player under Kirk Ferentz to be drafted and the ninth defensive lineman.
