Clemson Tigers football team is an NCAA team from Clemson University in South Carolina. It competes in the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision and the Atlantic Division of the Atlantic Coast Conference. Frank Howard Field at Memorial Stadium is the of the Clemson University Tigers.

Clemson’s rivalry with Georgia Tech dates to 1898 with the first game being played in Atlanta. The game was played in Atlanta for 45 of the first 47 matchups. When Georgia Tech joined the ACC in 1978, The series went to a more traditional home-and-home setup beginning with the 1983 game.

• Freshman Mike Bellamy Will Not Return to Clemson for 2012 Season
  Mike Bellamy, the second leading rusher on Clemson's 2011 ACC Championship team, will not return to Clemson for the 2012 season. The freshman from Nocatee, FL has been ruled academically ineligible for the fall semester and plans to enter a junior college this summer.
• Chick-fil-A Bowl Announces Kick Times for Pair of Chick-fil-A Kickoff Games
  Kick times have now been set for the pair of Chick-fil-A Kickoff Games that will open the 2012 college football season. The Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game weekend will feature the first-ever double hosting of marquee, BCS-style games on back-to-back days in the same venue.
• Team Georgia Tech Repeats as Chick-fil-A Bowl Challenge Champions
  Paul Johnson and Jon Barry of Georgia Tech successfully defended their Chick-fil-A Bowl Challenge championship on Tuesday with a one stroke victory over the field to take home the $125,000 first-place scholarship prize.
• Boyd and Watkins Listed as Heisman Candidates
  Clemson quarterback Tajh Boyd and wide receiver Sammy Watkins are among 18 players listed as preseason Watch List candidates for the Heisman Trophy according to the website Heismanpundit.com. The site is not affiliated with the New York Downtown Athletic Club, which selects the winner each December.
• Vote to Bring ESPN College GameDay to Clemson
  Tiger fans can now vote to bring ESPN College GameDay to the Clemson campus to shoot a commercial for the upcoming 2012 football season. This spring, ESPN is letting fans from over 120 Division I FBS schools decide where it will film one of its commercials for the 2012 College GameDay show. The school that receives the most votes over a 10-day period wins, and will have ESPN on campus for a commercial shoot this summer.
• Notes on Clemson and the 2012 NFL Draft
  Clemson had four players drafted in the 2012 NFL selection process. Andre Branch was taken in the second round by Jacksonville, the 38th pick of the draft. He was the first Clemson player taken by the Jaguars in their history (started in 1995). Dwayne Allen was the first pick of the third round, the 64th selection of the draft, by the Indianapolis Colts. He and Stanford tight end Coby Fleener will both be rookies in camp with number-one pick Andrew Luck of Stanford.
• Six Tigers Sign Free Agent Contracts
  Six members of Clemson's 2011 ACC Championship team had signed free agent contracts with NFL teams as of Monday afternoon. The following list is in addition to the four former Tigers who were drafted Friday and Saturday.
• Three Clemson Players Taken on Second Day of NFL Draft
  Andre Branch, Dwayne Allen and Brandon Thompson were all drafted by the National Football League on Friday night. Branch was taken in the second round by the Jacksonville Jaguars, Allen by the Indianapolis Colts and Thompson by the Cincinnati Bengals.

• Former Tigers Look Forward to NFL Draft
  The National Football league will hold its 2012 draft of college players Thursday, April 26 through Saturday, April 28. Many members of the 2011 Clemson team are candidates to be selected.

• Official Pairings Announced for Chick-fil-A Bowl Challenge
  The Chick-fil-A Bowl has announced the official pairings for the sixth annual Chick-fil-A Bowl Challenge charity golf tournament. A 16-team field of NCAA head coaches and celebrity alumni will compete in a two-man scramble format over 18 holes, vying for a first-place prize of $125,000 in scholarship funds. All participating teams will receive a portion of the $520,000 total scholarship purse.
• Dawkins Retires from NFL
  Former Clemson All-American Brian Dawkins announced his retirement from the National Football league on Monday. The native of Jacksonville, FL played 16 years in the NFL and was a nine-time Pro Bowl selection. He has had arguably the greatest NFL career among former Clemson players and is a strong candidate to some day become the school's first entry in the NFL Hall of Fame.
• Clemson Memorial Stadium Ranked Best in the Nation by Bleacher Report
  Clemson Memorial Stadium has been ranked as the best football stadium in the nation by BleacherReport.com, an internet site that covers college football and is known for its rankings in various areas of the game.
